The Kempen landscape is wonderfully peaceful of course, having retained much of the former beauty of this immense region of marshes, heathfields, fens, woodlands and sand dunes. Moreover, you are only a kilometre away from the Belgian border, so that there are no end of options for days out in the Burgundian Flanders region.
